Family Group May Bank Holiday

7 months ago we visited Minmore Mews for the May bank holiday weekend. We have a large family that travelled to Ireland and we all wanted to stay together, yet have individual space for each of our families.

With 7 children across the group, we also wanted to cater for them and need to know that even the youngest toddlers had somewhere safe to play. This spot ticked all the boxes for us and didn’t disappoint!

Even before we arrived, our wonderful host, Donal, matched each family to one of the six self contained cottages. He ensured that small children were catered for in the cottages with cots and stair gates where necessary.

The cottages were easy to find and easily accessible to the surrounding towns/amenities and once we arrived we really felt at home! The breathtaking scenery and gorgeous grounds had us admiring the surroundings and enjoying the outdoors even when the weather wasn’t the best!

The outdoor barbecue area was a great gathering spot for all of us to eat together and we even moved around to some of the different cottages to enjoy meals together. There was even a games room that kept the teenagers amused!

On top of all this, the cottages were clean, well maintained and comfortably kitted out so we could enjoy each space. We literally can’t wait to go back, and we were just so happy with the experience, I’d highly recommend this little gem.
